Finally completed it....COLOUR! I left the pencil sketch lines in the background so it doesn't look too plain...Doesn't Len get picked on too much?
I tried a different way of colouring it, and removed the outline. I think I'll stick with CGing with outlines from now on, until I get a tablet one day...

haha unfortunately no... I'm planning on getting one though.
Short hair like Len & Rin are easy, and I think I done the both of them in 20-30minutes..
Miku with the longer strands are a real pain to colour... I have to use a low density brush, and stroke many times to get that effect.
Gotta keep the lines flowing all the way to the tip of the hair. Mouse is really hard to control so i have to keep erasing and repeating etc until I'm happy with it.

I'm amazed you were able to do that with only a mouse. xD I could never have the patience to keep that up, and furthermore my mouse control is horrible. (so I end up using cell shading and the pen tool lol)

i should probably try cell shading one day. I think it would take much less time than what I'm currently doing.
Patience... I'm usually multi-tasking when I'm colouring.. like listening to music or watching TV right beside me while I colour.
I'd be so bored if I fully concentrated on the colouring.. (it would take less time, but is quite straining which causes me to become impatient lol).

yeah it is quite distracting, that's why i colour slow lol. Yes... music definitely helps me concentrate more when drawing or colouring on pc.
