S T O R Y

The blizzard was making the small group increasingly more uncomfortable. Vachir knew blizzards but encountering them in unknown terrain was always an additional threat. Riley knew so just as well but during the journey he had learned to trust Vachir's instincts more, although Riley himself wasn't exactly a man of instinct. He had to admit that man's 'gut feeling' about things was eerily accurate sometimes. Too accurate for his liking, really.
Meanwhile Vachir was mostly worrying about getting everybody safely to the train in due time. Which was a good thing because it distracted his thoughts from other... confusions? Then again, it was painfully easy to confuse him, so that didn't mean much now did it? Even Tephra was behaving extremely focused for such a relatively young horse and was very attentive of her surroundings, controlling her bursts of energy much better than she used to. After all she could feel the approaching blizzard in her bones, sparking her instincts to bring her two-legged to safety as quickly as she could.
