They were doing pretty good. Up until the point Ona had the map. "Givemethat." Riley wasn't necessarily known for being patient with these kinds of things. He was also disappointed at his son for dropping out for comfort. Pfsh, back in his days- no. He couldn't get started like that.
Meanwhile Vachir was caught in a completely different sort of dilemma. Haku was leaning closer and closer... and closer and he didn't understand at first but felt strangely drawn to those eyes and how pretty his face looked up close and how- Suddenly there was a tumbling Haku instead as Monte had found a particularly tasty flower in the ever-snowing area and at the same time successfully spooked Samar, who gracefully leapt to the side throwing up his head, trying to figure out what just happened. Once more, Vachir was as confused as ever. And blushing. What did just happen??
