I have so much to say, but since I know that nobody likes big paragraphs, I'll just put everything in a list (cuz everyone likes lists):
Good Stuff That Happened While I Was Hiatusing For 2 Months:
-I got really close to finishing the run in-game (still at Victory Road).
-I practiced. A lot. So much my style changed drastically.
-Hopefully the artstyle will remain like this for a while
-Hopefully I'll try to put something up either every one or two weeks
Bad Stuff That Happened While I Was Hiatusing For 2 Months:
-I was hiatusing for two months
-I got Pokemon X and joined its Dark Side
-I think I overdid the backgrounds
-Hopefully I didn't lose too many readers...

It took me a couple moments to realize that the dude on Silver's shoulder is... the other Silver XD I'm a bit slow, so if this happens consistently, do not be surprised.
Poor Kaz XD I love how you do focus on the reality of Pursuit though, ughhh what a beyotch of a move. Brandy as a Raticate, omffff-- I have never seen anyone manage to make that pokemon attractive, but lo and behold... he's adorable.

Everything is looking much improved, and all the time you've put into developing it is certainly paying off. Just.. good luck on keeping up with updates XD How long did this one take you?
It wasn't dull, but it might have felt that way to you because of all the talking going on. Maybe a remedy would therefore be less talk, and more action? That risks character development, so it's always a matter of balance in the end. I think you did fine for this update, though!

This is actually the first time I bothered to practice a certain style for a comic's sake, and I'm so glad you acknowledged it! I believe this one took me a little over a week, given I worked on it about 2 or 3 hours a day.
More action, uh? That's a handy solution. Maybe I could even pull off that "one action speaks more than a thousand words" thing. Who knows.
Ah, Kaz... didn't even level up once... And I think there's been enough soap-opera sibling conflict already XD

I guess I forgot Rattata could learn Pursuit (and damn, I had one XD). Worst of all, though, I always underestimated Pursuit. I definitely became more paranoid while training after that XD
