There's so many things about this page that feel cluttered. The speech bubbles, the sudden change in Zeph's and Morty's tempers, how quickly it transitioned to the end. I had to cut SO MANY THINGS outta Burned Tower just to allow the story to progress somewhat ("kill your darlings" they say).
Still, stylistically, this might be the best page yet, and there's more to come for sure (just not until aprox. mid-May, I'm busy as hell for the rest of the next couple weeks). In the meantime, I'll be revising the story again and cutting out extraneous scenes so that I don't end up blocked for another 8 months again

I'm in love with your expressions. I love how Zeph went from actively avoiding the plot to shooshing her Pokémon to listen to someone's long probably not made up legend. Still man, stranger danger. For reals.

Some people keep saying "consistent" but tbh I feel like I was ten different people drawing the entirety of the comic XD Thanks a lot though :''D It's so hard to find that one easy and perfect style to work on for the rest of a project, I totally feel you with this one

I don't think the page looks cluttered with the speech bubbles at all. It looks very clean, with several smaller bubbles containing the dialogue, instead of just one HUGE bubblicious bubble. I think this is defininetly one of your best pages yet.

Thanks a lot :'D I love getting this kinda input. And breaking up big speech bubbles is such an awesome strategy - as a reader, I tend to skim the dialogue in huuuge speech bubbles because I get bored too quickly. Breaking it up keeps readers attentive 8D

I just did a quick compare of the sketch and this and honestly the closeups looks absolutely brilliant.
also the look on morty's face is just priceless

"Tired? Nuh." and "I'm too blind to die!" were my favorite things here and deserve a spot on the Wall of Fame. Of course, it might get cramped with all the stuff you already have there, but I bet we can make room :U
btw there's so much artistically great stuff in the descend-into-the-unknown panel. Perspective, shading, semi-blurred Spinarak webs... and of course my inner worldbuilding-freak is squeeling at the "Central Johto Time" detail.
