Alice is a Hunslet Quarry Type, who now works at the Bala Lake Railway. She was rescued from the top of her quarry, and brought down for a rebuild. Alice the Little Welsh Engine, I've seen the real locomotive at Bala Lake Railway several times, she's my favourite Hunslet Narrow Gauge Steam Locomotive in the world.

I've seen that story of Alice as well, and I've been to Bala Lake before, but I think I was there before Alice was found and restored.
In fact, I'm thinking on having Alice reunite with Skarloey and Rheneas for a week or two.
