Pretty Polly was an LNER A3 Pacific, named after a famous racing horse. A series of A3's were named after horses, as a matter of fact. She carried the old Gresley tender, even in the days of British Railways. Unfortunately, she was scrapped, along with the majority of her class.Credits to DanielArkansanEngine
