Description Here's a little base for Pacific's in miniature gauge. More particularly, the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Pacific's.

I remember as a child, and no knowledge of how a steam engine works. I had no clue what that painted part on the tender engines between the pistons and the smoke stack did. I thought it was there for "balance" to keep the boiler in place but, since they had faces, I really believe they represented the "collar", as in like a shirt ^^'

I am sure if you converted this to the GNR 2-8-0. It would look pretty decent
