Description Finn, when built, will be the Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway No. 11. He will be the largest engine on the line, and is based off the second largest engine that the WW&F ever had. Number 11 will be based off the plans for the original WW&F No. 7. A 2-4-4T, which is, coincidentally, almost identical to B&HR No. 7. The old WW&F No. 7 was scrapped in 1937.

Like the way the WW&F has always done it, they will give the new engine the next number on the roster, Number 11.

Pictured here, is No. 11, the way the WW&F has depicted it, using WW&F Number 7's builder photo. Here's the actual picture: www.wwfry.org/projects/pics/pl…

Very nice locomotive.
I have considered buying a miniature version of this type but, in the end, I just drew a variation of one for my railway collection.

Was Finn named after one of the main characters in Star Wars 7?

I think you may have tempted me into making a character named after Rey from the movie too.  XD

When 11's complete, I can't wait to see it in action.

Me too! Considering that the old No. 7 was built for express passenger trains, 11 will feel right at home.

It will. It's nice to see a new 2-footer being built.

At least compared to the new T1, this'll be easier to build and won't cost much.

Very true. I'm super excited about the T1, but No. 11 won't take as long.

How long would you expect the build to be?

Looking at the figures, No. 11's build should take a few more years.

At least it's better than waiting 2 decades.
