All they knew was her appearing in farmland at night. She watched the environment with a blank stare in her eyes.. before catching a Rattata or Murkrow that bothered the crops. She proved to be useful, and was kept on farmland. One day, one of their Boltund decided to play with the new scarecrow! The scarecrow didn’t mind the company, even letting the dog smell the grass on its body.

In the same night, the dog was found dead.

Another day, one of the children tried befriending the scarecrow.

They too died that night.

All fingers were pointed at the beast that appeared, but it mattered no more. She had dealt with them, one by one.

Rye is a Pokémon of malice, sent to the Abyss for her continued murder of farmers. She’s easygoing and docile until provoked or hungry, do not engage. ABSOLUTELY, IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, INHALE THE GRASS THAT GROWS FROM HER BODY. Its shavings are sharp enough to scar and tear apart lung tissue in humans and weaker Pokemon.
