Funny how I upload this before I even get to my two traditional works and my two pieces I made before my small digital hiatus, no?
A gift for DreamPuppeteer because she graduated and I never made a present so here ya go, buddy. You're one of my most cool friends and...ya know? Gotta repay that, even though I'm not even a percent as cool as you are. //but i'm still the ace attorney//
Now onto the piece itself.... This took pretty much forever, being a lineless piece. And plus.....architecture. That is all. Anyway, I wanted to have the clothing try and have a flow to it, which I think I did pretty well in that regard. The pillars were a little hard to do at first but it got easier. I look forward to doing a background like this in the future.
This is the first time I've taken Zeldeon 's advice on painting the background first so you know what colours to shade with. I think it worked pretty darn nicely, so I'll be remembering that for the near future.
As for the purple fire.... I, uh, took some artistic license with that, because.... I REALLY LOVE PAINTING FIRE, OKAY? //you guys still haven't seen my moltres thing yet// But I like the purple glow and stuff.
Regardless of how much I like this piece, I still find that I think it's missing something. So if Saph wants something to be in it that I haven't put in, expect updates to this in the near future.
I think I'd like to mention what kind of inspired me to do this exactly. Decisive Battle with Magus - Chrono Trigger was the music that kind of brought this on. Furthermore, the background was quite inspired by Magus' castle. ...Yeah, I'm watching Chrono Trigger and it's really good, so inspiration, inspiration!! //SNES RPG's are g O R G E O U S//

I think I've rambled on plenty, so I'm gonna....do something else now. ;w; See you later and I hope you liked this!
I was gonna speedpaint this but someone was downstairs and......it was just easier to sit in my room and paint this on my laptop.
