First impressions people say when meeting Ian is, he is mature for his age and expresses a calm and reserved demeanor. His previous superiors at Ranger Union have called him openly defiant and reckless which could be caused by his naturally caring and protective nature. The Union is glad to have someone like him on their side, as his perceptive skills in the field has given him a bit of a rep among the low ranking Rangers. Ian has tendencies to be withdrawn and exclude himself from others and prefers to work alone if possible. All of his actions are done with a rational and logical thought, though his superiors and close friends and family will say he's the most emotional one between them. If he chooses to do anything slightly out of character, there is a reason for it.

History:

A trainer turned ranger after a near death experience at Battle Frontier Tournament in Hoenn left Hiro to reevaluate his priorities and dub the alias Ian Wolf. It was there he was saved a group known as the Pokemon Rangers. He felt they were more of a family than his own back in Kanto. Where Hiro spent most of his childhood feeling like the black sheep of the family. Often called a prodigy by his peers, his open defiance towards his immediate family caused the sleepy town of Pallet to be acutely aware of the Kobayashi Family. Once Hiro turned 10 instead of leaving home on a Pokemon journey, as many of his cousins did, he continued his schooling and focused his studies on science and technology. Between the ages of 14-17 Hiro decided to travel with his friends, collecting badges in the regions of Kanto and Johto while continuing his studies in the field. It was during this time Hiro heard the Ultimate Battle Frontier was holding a tourney in Hoenn. Since he had already participated in the Indigo League once after collecting the badges of Kanto, a second time would be overkill, he thought. Hiro contacted the UBF and joined the IT team as on an internship. By the end of that year, he realized the world he is living in had much more to offer and many more to lose. The young man named Hiro Kobayashi was gone, a new name, a new identity needed to made. That was the day Ian Wolf was born.

Quirky- He loves to make chirping sounds and run through a field of flowers in Sector 10.
