Just felt like submitting a preview of a piece I'm working on at the moment - should have it finished soon enough
This is actually a rather small piece of a much larger picture 
Haha, can't think of anything else to say right now, so this is one of my shortest artist's comments 
Done on one layer in GIMP with intuos 3 tablet

As for my technique, there's really nothing to it - just some little strokes and a bit of shading

Yeah, I never really know how I draw things. They just sort of... happen on the screen
In my recent piece which I haven't finished yet, I originally intended to have a simple, gradient sky. I've ended up with a sunset and clouds with perspective and bits of light shining through. Damn it, why do I do that? -shot-

Roflmao. That's happened to me on some requests where it was suppose to be just a simple character. Next thing I know Ive spent 5 hours painting it.

I can't believe you did this in gimp on one layer, it must have been a lot of work. I can't do digital for shit, mostly because of my genius mousepen 8x6 tablet... oh god, the lag is TERRIBLE... I wasn't much of a digital artist, anyways. You has an intuos 3!?

Yeah, I can't imagine working without layers when I do little digital things. I mostly just sketch in digital when I don't want to waste paper or am busy doing things online.
