Looks To be some kind of floating robot-owl-cat. But it actually is a kind of alien in a suit.

"The Econ aliens' curiosity allowed their species to make up some of the most exceptional scientists in the galaxy, but it was not always this way. Originally these lifeforms had a more than primitive brain which only carried out the tasks the Econs were made to accomplish. The Vulbeer, a long dead race, take the credit for creating the Econ biology and construction chrysalis's. In an attempt to transform a barren world into a paradise. Unfortunately, things got out of hand. The robot-like Econ were very narrow minded, and this mindset only led to disaster for all the Vulbeer associated with the terraforming process. Over Millennia, The Econ learned enough to think for itself and establish a stable civilization as well as completing the terraforming process. However, with the Vulbeer gone, this Paradise would now belong to the Econ alone.

An Econ uses its tail like appendages as tools to manipulate the word around them. These tails break matter down into their core components and build up their cocoon suits to be more specialized and efficient in creating, and when the time comes, combat.
