Wow it actually turned out pretty good D: especially considering how lacking in experience I am with digital art...Hopefully I can keep doing more art like this and get better. Especially now that I have CS5 on my computer (it came with my animation program
)comments and advice are always welcome, I know there's plenty for me to learn XD
EDIT: In case anyone's interested enough, I used Batman comics for shading references, and Akira manga to help with the rock.
EDIT2: Added more of a green tinge to the background structures.

This is just so cool. I really like how the grungy colors give an overall post-apocalyptic feel, plus the green sky of course. By the way, the laser rifle's also my favorite weapon, but only in Fallout New Vegas though, because it's not so nerfed there.

lol, thanks. yeah, with the scope and damage upgrade, the New Vegas laser rifle was pretty sweet. but in Fallout 3 i was actually using the Metal Blaster, a special laser rifle from the Pitt DLC. It looks the same, but is incredibly powerful.

You got it down real well, in my personal noobish opinion. A little dark, but nailed it down really good for something you're not used to.

Lol yeah digital art is pretty difficult unless you know what you're doing. Experimenting around like on paper will translate into days of work in digital.

Shading on the side of the box/radio. And maybe use a more green tinted grey for the buildings at the back because they don't feel like they fit in with the rest of the picture.
Some variation with the shading on the rocks to imply the distance. Eg, the rock surface on the left of the girl should be darker/duller to show that it is further away.
But it is a traditional comic style. (:
