Description

Intro: Also, known as Diablos what is of the jungle and the cave this large herbivore deep in the Earth. It mainly feeds upon the various large funguses within that underground world known as Underdark where there are many strange creatures.

Habitat Range: They are found deep underground though they sometimes come out into the open plains. They only enter the forests and lusher areas during the mating season.

Ecological Niche: They serve as one of the main large herbivores deep underground feeding mainly on earth dust and mushrooms. They also sometimes eat normal vegetation. As one of the herbivores of the deep underground they are prey for some of the more dangerous monsters. They can defend themselves quite well and ensure that creepy creature like Khezu don’t eat them or their friends.

Biological Adaptations: Their physical appearance resembles the ceratopsian Nasutoceratops but with a larger frill and rock like spikes that start on the frill and run down the back ending in a stegosaurus type tail. Thanks to their diet of earth dust, they can create piles of dust which they use for defence, to created nests and piles of rock for mating displays. Rocks always appear when these creatures are around.

Behaviour: They are passive beasts but will attack if cornered and will gore you with their horns. They are surprisingly good builders and make very strong nests and weird structures.

Legends and fairy tales: These creatures were once a normal beast who were gifted with powers by the titan of earth. With these powers they can build new ecosystems. There are tales of them being used to make Wizards palaces.

Ruby: So this creature has strong defense and offense, how then does One like me, defeat it?

Me: That’s a good question. They are actually pretty weak to water and fire.

Ruby: Any particular reason why I get water sensor probably turns it into mud but fire?

Me: More accurately, very hot fire center. What time into lava and well you get the picture.
