I brought myself here, I can't remember why. How I wish I were outside this wall once more. I can still see the sky, the storm brewing. Beautiful. This dancing feels strange, wrong. I can't remember anymore.-------------------------------
I'm a little uninthusiastic about this painting. I'm not sure why exactly. I'm somewhat unhappy with the wings, but that's the only thing I really want to redo.
It changed a lot from the sketch, I just had a different feeling in my mind when I carbon copied it than when I drew it. I really loved doing the cat tails, though. I should use more of them. And this is one of the few backgrounds I'm really happy with. Especially the sky. The scan isn't great, though, I have to figure out why my pics aren't scanning well. Actually, the print is much nicer. Go check it out, it looks a lot more like the original.

THanks! I'm still surprised at how the sky came out on this. I think I did a blend of various blues from my paint set, but the trick was getting the right consistancy in the paint.

Wow! Thanks so much. That's really an incredible project, I'm excited to see someone spending so much time appreciating art. Back when I was on Elfwood, I was part of a group that tried a similar thing, but I just don't have the time anymore, so I really respect what you are doing. Also, I was a little iffy on this particular piece, so I'm really glad you liked it!
