The mech in the 2nd panel looke like a combination of R-GUN (SRW OG) ... a bit of Neo Grazon (SRW OG) ... and for the cape a bit of Trombe Override (SRW Alpha ,OG )
The mech in the 4th and 5th panel ... its looks like a combinations of Neo Granzon (SRW OG) , Rushbird (SRW L) , and DyGenGuar (SRW Alpha , OG ... "ZENGAR -Mr. BADASS ZANKATOU- ZOLVOT"'s mech .... *¬* ♥ )

I like this manga. Awesome action scenes in it. Reminds me a little of Muv-Luv.
My only suggestion. I'd like to see more fight scenes in this, and less breast references. It would make it better.

Oh, well I like this comic more for the mech battles. This kind of action I usually enjoy. I actually find boob jokes to be somewhat gross though.
Reminds me of what people usually say to me about Strike Witches. I tell them I like it only for the action scenes and the cuteness, and they are usually like to me "not for the pantsu?" I guess the same thing is happening here.
Still great comic. It looks like it would have great potential in the next parts too.

Oh, I know I am watching you for good reason. I like Cosmic Break, moe' cuteys, and big sophistcated futuristic mechs. You draw plenty of that stuff, so I know I am watching the right person.
Just do whatever you want. I guess I can tolerate that for more cuteness and sci-fi action.

I've always wondered, where do you get your design ideas for your giant mechs?

Well, i'm glad you like it, but i wouldn't use this as a "good example"
But i think it comes from remembering what I like and understanding why i like them.
These memories are the palette of my imagination. I mostly start with a basic concept, this one is "Curved" Because BB dislikes flat surfaces (that screen should be a ball, my bad.) Then I gave it the V shaped direction to make it look more dynamic and offensive. Now the shoulder details i sort of got from Bike designs, but i wanted to add a huge side booster to the shoulder, and at the end i got the idea from F-22's thrust vectoring. then made it way bigger(Just because it looks nice, not really practical).
Now, did I think and plan this through then draw? no. I just get an overall concept, and the concept kind of works itself. What is it supposed to do? how big is it? How advanced is it? and see what fits in, when a design creates a problem, such as break of flow or makes it look too flimsy, I have to add or remove things to fix it. I have to say it's from experience
See a lot, and then try out what you think you know. like how do car designers deal with a beveled edge when it meets a curved part of the car
Haha, wow, this almost sounds like i know what i'm doing.
I really don't, I'm nowhere near these guys that I love.
I have 4 main sources
1 - Real life- Look at cars and such, From skyline to SSC Aero2
2 - Armored Core - i'm a fan of the later designs, Ones like the Aaliyah have beautiful detail
3 - Katoki Hajime - I'm in love with katoki's designs. long before i knew his name, all my favorite gundams were designed by him, From sentinel to endless waltz.
4 - Skan Srisuwan - Who has been my mentor for a short, but unforgettable time. He's probably the best teacher I ever had.
