On the one hand, those bombs are supposed to have a three-foot blast radius. On the other hand, this is so much cooler. I mean, why not go with the mushroom cloud?

Yeah, the idea was that the arrowhead bomb should be able to kill it's target, and yet not harm someone standing next to the target. XD
But big explosions are fun too. XD

It's an interesting idea and I'd see why you'd give that to your character, but wouldn't there still be a lot of shrapnel to a bomb like that? If I wanted an explosive designed to hit exactly 1 person, I'd probably concept it as an energy weapon that generates a localized concussive and/or heat wave. Shockwaves weaken quickly in the air (although underwater they're a bitch), and a 2000 degree quick burst of heat at a marble-sized point is probably not going to seriously injure somebody standing several feet away.
Also, somebody like Zerg doesn't seem like she'd care too much about collateral damage, except to herself. These seem like they'd be a better fit for a more heroic character.

Though to dig a bit more, she actually designed and created those herself long before becoming an assassin (and in collaboration with her best friend). In a sense it's a trademark weapon for her.
She's been using those in RP for YEARS. XD;
Also, she does tend to get creative with those and not just use it for single targets (and often she'll use several at once).

Every last pannel looks amazing. I also have to say I love how you have those embers burning in the air in the second pannel, and how dramatic the first pannel is.
