Damn, I don't know why but there is an insanely attractive way you draw Gaz and Tak
I mean, not in a romantically attractive way xD
But rather, they both look superior in your sort of style while retaining the same design
Tak especially, but I think that comes more from the fact I like how you draw the collars of Irken attire
Making them more like mock turtlenecks than anything and that is just so cozy looking
Also the white highlight in Zim's wig is a superb little touch that really fits the style
I know it is already present in the original design, but for some reason - it is not as memorable as it is in this style
Once again, one of those things where a style can really take a good design and do something neat to itΒ
Slight alterations, sometimes, can really make something fresh in itself
What would be interesting is to one day see how you would have personally designed these characters uwu

Truth be told, their designs are pretty concrete as it is

Never leave home without a turtleneck :v
Jhonen is probably one of most unlikable creators out there as far as being a person goes
His bad reputation is no longer overlooked by fans anymore, which is good to see

I still remember when it was revealed he left his girlfriend at the time for being "too old" when he, himself was pushing 34 or so and was like 8 years older than her
To be honest I don't think I can name a single person who unironically likes Jhonen for who he is anymore
He used to have a cult of personality like a decade ago when the fandom was still young and arguably in a golden era
Once, he was worshipped
Now we all just see him for the prick he is, who just happens to be decently talented and good at telling a silly, grotesque story

I love the dynamics between Dib and Zim. How they hate each other but on a weird level sort of enough each otherβs company. Like how Zim goes into an existential crisis in a cancelled episode when Dib gives up on chasing Zim. Also Tak, a great character that was going to go places but the show got cancelled before she could return. God I miss this show.

Their making an Invader Zim movie officially. I havenβt heard anything about it in a couple months, outside of a few teaser trailers on Nickelodeon. I donβt even know what itβs even really going to be about so (fingers crossed) Tak might make a return.
