I mean, I did Utuboros, so I figured it would be OK to do this one 'cause I think he's neat looking. I get a kick out of the lil' pilot (Mad Joey), that they had it be a vehicle instead of just a straight-up mechanaloid. Woulda been easy enough, but they added a lil' "extra step" as it were, and that tickles me. Especially since it's the same sprite as the rider-armor pilots in X2.Now, I'm leaving out the other mid-bosses: Hell Crusher and Worm Seeker-R because they suck & I hate them; Hotareeca because it's even lower-tier than this guy; and Mosquitus can go straight to hell. It changes colors anyway, but really-- fuck Mosquitus.

Thinking back on it, I'm bummed that D-Rex didn't get an upgrade to look like this. We do see an incarnation in Command Mission, but I would have loved to see Sigma's envisioned Fortress Boss brought to a complete form.

I adore this boss. I was so curious about it on the MMX3ZP playthrough, which was actually my first experience with X3, but then he was gone as quickly as he showed. Ah well.
