And on to X2!! I really love this wacky bastard, he's a trip
and I really like how he goes when you use the sonic slicer.
Didn't do the full "heating up" set, since it's in part a screen effect, though the recoloration is super-straightforward (just gets redder, and by a uniform amount). Since his megamissions redesign almost exclusively a recolor, the pink palette translated extremely well.
You might notice in the set where he twirls the wire in front of him, frames 13, 17, 19, and 23 are duplicate frames-- I left them in so the full cycle would be unambiguous, since all the rips I found online dropped a frame or 2 from the cycle. www.deviantart.com/zero-w/art/… I can also include the tileset for these guys, especially nice in a case like this, where all the little electricity-bits are kinda random. The lightning on his body, that I'm 99% sure I got the right pattern & ripped it, but the stuff on his arms? I gave up on that one after a loooooong time of trying to detect the pattern. Not sure there is one. And the thorns, my goodness, you'd have a nightmarishly huge page to show all the permutations made possible by the pieces used. So I just put in a couple as examples.
