Calipas is the current leader of the Ramush Zii'gal and is (as you might expect) a dignified, solemn and intellectual being. He spends much of his time in meditation, taking in what he calls "messages from the stars" to charter the best course to maintain the strength of his country and his people. Though he is frequently seen out and about in the capital city, he is not one to start conversations and is slow to answer, since he prefers to reflect on his words and how they might carry before he speaks.

As such, Ramush as well as visitors from outside of the country who might meet him are easily convinced that he puts the well-being of others before himself to an almost extreme degree. His natural ability to change his shape to suit the tasks at hand and the mental training to empower his psychic abilities would potentially make him a powerful ally and dangerous enemy, though none have as yet seen him in battle.

This fact makes it all the more concerning that he will not take direct involvement in this conflict against Violet and her strange, ominous behavior - despite swearing that he has no allegiance to her. He can't help or hinder the cause of the Duoneuma Guild... but why?

How he talks:
"...The stars send their messages clearly, but in the end these are only premonitions. It may be difficult, but if this is not to your liking, there is hope to steer your future in a different course."

"In some ways I envy my past... before I was made the new Ascended, when I was not responsible for so many. But still, I feel some sense of happiness in knowing that I am succeeding thus far."

"I am sorry. There is so little I can clearly see in the stars today... all I can offer you is what insight I have in my own soul."
