Jules is a sweet and gentle kid, and someone who a lot of Pokémon in Whisper Falls mistake as being younger than he actually is. Given his unassuming appearance and overall nature it's not all that surprising, especially since he spends most of his time trailing behind Hiyam and Haku as his two leaders barrel on ahead in every new adventure. But Jules is committed to his job and even if the bag he uses to carry all of their supplies and treasures in might weigh him down, he still does a somewhat decent job keeping up with the two rowdy leaders.

It would be wrong to think Jules is naive. He DOES understand that Hiyam and Haku have a tendency to look for adventure almost before they even weigh the dangers involved, and that they do always leave him in the dust in the process. This is a concern he shares with the guild's scout Stein and the two have a special bond of brotherhood, working closely together to ensure that the Scavengers hold strong as a unit.

How he talks:
"Boy, this is the first time anybody's really asked me questions as a leader... um, personally I think the best way to go for this is to get through this corner of town first and make sure there's no openings for Flo to slip through or over."

"Don't forget to pick up as much that looks useful as you can! Ah- but not too much! We'll need to be able to make the trip back home too. Don't forget we're all in this together, so don't be afraid to ask one of the Scholars if something looks useful if you're not sure!"

"Whoop! There they go again-- we'd better go after them and... hwoof...! ...N-no, I'm fine! Go ahead and follow Hiyam and Haku, I'll catch up in a minute! This bag's been heavier than this before and I can manage...!"
