As the head over the Soul Springs and the sole Pokémon in the entire world (except for her sister) who is capable of making Soul Dew, Xin is a lady that gets a great deal of respect not only from the Farlians but most anyone the world over. Some have suggested that it's because of Xin and the Soul Springs that their homeland has so much attention from other countries. Xin herself doesn't like this idea - she dislikes being put above others and prefers to think of herself as a friend to the community, not a higher power over them.

Xin spends most of her time in the Soul Springs, but will occasionally fly out to other countries in case of an emergency transfer of power from one Ascended Ancient to the new inheritor. These trips are only made with an entourage to help protect her in case anyone attempts to harm or kidnap her, in which case Xin can use her incredible speed - or the added boost from her Latiosite - to escape back to Whisper Falls.

Since she has helped with the communing of countless spirits through the Rite of Bonding and helped several Pokémon pass on or rise to power through the Rite of Ascension, Xin is patient, kind, and empathetic. Her personality shines through in her moveset, which she prefers to only use to help bring balance to others.

How she talks:
"Well hello! Aren't you just the sweetest thing~ Oh! Sorry if that's a little too forward; I really don't mean to offend! I just love it when someone comes to visit and every new face is one that I want to get to know! My name is Xin. May I ask yours?"

"Oh, there's no need to call me 'miss' or 'lady' or anything like that, not unless that makes things easier for you. There's one thing I'd like you to be sure of here: even if the rest of the world tells you to respect me as some sort of goddess, everyone in here is equal. Including me. I just want to be your friend, and I'm definitely not better or stronger than you. Okay? It can be our secret."

"I know this might be a little hard; that's why when we have Rites of Ascension it's important to make sure the little ones don't watch. Seeing someone pass away can be very frightening. But you're not going to have to worry about that with a Rite of Bonding. You and your new friend are going to feel something very special after everything is done. Something that will last a lifetime. ...If you want some advice, here's what I was told when I was bonded to my best friend: close your eyes, and picture yourself as a flower that's being planted in fresh soil. It will take a minute to understand the feeling at first, but after a moment you can put out your roots and really feel all the fresh earth that's a part of you, feeding you... it's much bigger, yes, but it's also exactly where you should be."
