Do you know that feeling, when you've worked on a drawing so much that you're sick of looking at it? "No?!" You lucky b*stard!
I'm right in that mood now (I also have an headache with capital H, and the stupid painkiller doesn't want to kick in >_<), so I don't know what to write here =3=
All I can remember was panic - different kinds of panic: how can I fill the background? how can I obtain the result I want to obtain? This is taking too much... is this taking too much? How am I supposed to colour such a messy background? It will take forever -- and so on.
Looking at it now, it wasn't that dramatic. About the background, I just put down the perspective lines and the main volumes (= the tables) first, then... the rest came out quite spontaneous? First of all, I drew the bigger objects (like, computers and monitors), then added wires here and there, floppy disks (please tell me you remember those, I feel old) and cds scattered everywhere... and before I could realize, I had an hell of a background - I thing it's the most detailed background I've ever done? But my memory is bad, so I can be wrong.
Then came the second problem, that was no longer a problem once I realized I could use the grayscale, then colour above -- and it worked! I already tried the grayscale-first-then-colour, but the results were always ugly =3= Glad this time turned out nice.
I don't know what else to write, and the headache is REALLY bad by now... may add something more later.

It looks very good ^w^ The background is messy (not that the way you drew it was messy, but that there is a lot of stuff) but the character stands out and the perspective looks right. I like all the attention to detail you put into it: each screen has its own image, from the one conected to a camera (which also shows the date!) to the one full of images and the one with the pink letters. Also, all the cables, hard drives, CDs and floppys everywhere. And I noticed the red eyes under the desk, what are those? XD

It's even worse when you feel like you're doing better than usual - like, you're super pumped, feeling like it's the best drawing you've ever done, then you finish it, and then... nothing, all the good feelings about it had vanished, and you just want it to disappear from your sight =3= At least it goes away... usually
