OH MY GOD I'M SO GOOD AT TITLES QUICK GIVE ME A PULITZER 💀 Tumblr 💀 ArtStation 💀 PaigeeWorld 💀 Pixiv 💀 Wysp 💀
I don't remember anymore where I complained lately(probably everywhere), but this drawing has born when I was in a really dark dark dark mood. I spent the last week(s) doodling on paper sheets without a purpose, in that "why the hell I bother to draw" gloomy state... not the best for doing commissions, right?
I was trying, with limited success, to do another reference sheet when the frustration mounted and I throwed everything to hell. Because why to persist in doing reference sheets (of recent minor OC above all) when I end up not even drawing my OCs "normally"? So I picked my so-called favourite OC and DANG, this drawing flourished in zero time.
So, nothing, I pushed the gloomy-mood-monsters in a corner (they'll stay there for a while) and now I really have to come back to business (and to fix the commission journal that was a total chaos and that's currently empty =3= )

Yesss! New drawing, I have to comment on this one, it looks sooo beautiful! I love the lightining, and the soft pallete (even if it has much black, still feels soft). The purple gradient in his scarf is so nice, and omg, the detailed knitting, must've been a painful process haha, it looks awesome, though! I like the style of his coat, it's fashionable~ I like the little details as the buttons, the clouds in the umbrella and the cloudy breath.

I'll tell you, drawing the knitting pattern wasn't atrocious as it may seem xD Actually, it was quite satisfying seeing all those tiny ordinate braids forming little by little

I've read on tumblr that you drew the scarf completely manually, like, also those knots and
honestly, you've my biggest respect. This is really breathtakingly beautiful!
And no, I'm not biased or anything (well maybe a little bit cuz you're still my fav artist)
But it's just got such a nice composition. Like all those small details, and I
really love the concept of the umbrella, showing nice weather while in
reality, it's raining. He looks so calm in here? Like, to me it seems like the
rain's just going away in this moment and he's so glad about that and yeah.
You really did an amazing job here, especially on the linework & coloring. I
really hope you did not do every button on his coat individually, because
else I'm... i'm gonna wrap you in a blanket and tell you a hundred times
how amazing you are.
I know those times where you're like.... ok... but what am I doing this for...
so I totally understand your.. lack of motivation? if that's it. But honestly,
seeing pictures like those that you draw remind me what the reason is.
Drawing is such an amazing concept for showing things a photgraphy
never could, it's individual, it's creative, it shows that someone has got a
talent, and you definitely have one. I know, I know, I'm sounding cheesy
and all, but I just feel like you need to be reminded that there are people
out there, people like me, who really really love what you do.
There's also nothing that I could critizice about this! Well, I mean, I'm no
expert, but the only thing that I find a little confusing is the perspective of
the umbrella, I don't know if it's just me but it looks like the upside of one
rather than the downside. ... If you get what I mean xD Like, it's the other
way around? That's probably because of the lack of shading because of those
beautiful clouds, but that's just the only thing I'm noticing!
...This was longer than I expected it to be xDD

I created one of those optical illusions that goes around as clickbaits around the web maybe? "Is the umbrella folded towards the inside or the outside? The answer will blow your mind!" xD
