I look at her, and I see Di$ney's version of Esmerelda, and I suddenly get this Hunchback-V:tM-A.U. X-over. Es is Ravnos (duh), Quasi is Nos, Frollo is Ventru, and Phoebus is True-ja.

I find the Gypsy look quite fitting for the main idea of the clan, considering that gypsy doesn't mean Roma. It is like calling people Nomads, the term has a very convoluted meaning, so don't let others make you feel bad.
Gypsy comes from an old slang term that was for Egyptian, because they thought most of these people that travelled all over and lived off of seasonal work/helping of others where mostly of Egyptian decent. And originally was actually people of Indian decent, which is where the whole dark skin and clothing stereotype comes from. Not like it wasn't true after all.
But gypsies, or Roma, are of a multitude of European countries by now, so it's all pointless to argue haha. For those that actively seek a cause there is always one to be found. Especially in art forms. I say just sit back and enjoy it for what it is, great art work. You have my kudos.

Hmmm your colours are gorgeous but as Rroma I'm a little offended that you played to an incredibly racist stereotype of this clan. The slur was redacted out of later editions and the appropriative mess that resulted was remedied. I kind of wish other players had followed suit. To equate my entire race of people to liars and thieves via a roleplaying game is pretty demeaning. Your technique is great and I have no doubt that you're a fantastic artist. I'd just advise that there are more creative and less anti-ziganist ways to portray a simplified mascot of the Ravnos clan, without scarves and belly dancing outfits.

No worries! I'm aware that a lot of my fellow VtM players have no idea that the stereotype is offensive! I just think it's better to educate and let people know rather than slinging obscenities and being a general douchebag. Like I said, your colouring is gorgeous and I've seen your other clan things and they're really cute! My goal is just to let people know that it's harmful to Rromani and explain that there was a reason White Wolf redacted "G*psy" in favor of "Deceiver" as far as the Rav clan nickname goes in 3rd edition; because the former word is a slur and equating my race with a fictional faction that can't resist indulging vices and generally being bad people is kind of morally ambiguous.
