American by birth, Norwegian by choice
Well - I'm not Norwegian yet, but I'm halfway there. I will be moving there in about a year or so, probably more like 2 - once I'm done with school. The connection I have is that my wife is Norwegian.

Norwegian by choice; I love how you said that.. That is really cool! So she is 100% Norwegian? I guess you have been over here and stuff since you want to move here.. I actually just came back from a year in NY.. I went there a year ago as an exchange student

Yes, she is 100% Norwegian - had to fill out all sorts of immigration crap to get her here just to have us go back...
and yes I have been to Norway (although she argues not for long enough.. which I agree) which I stayed for about 3 months near Bodoe / Fauske. It's beautiful up there. If only it wasn't so freakin expensive to travel there, we'd do it more.

Awesome. Really?! Thats almost where I live That's funny.. Very true, Norway is extremely expensive.. Especially travelling. You and your wife should take a trip to Lofoten in the summertime. Lofoten is the most popular place to go for tourists and if you like Bodø\Fauske you will definitely like it here!

Yeah - I want to go to the Lofotens... I know it's not that far... just a ferry...
But that's where her family is from. They live in Valnesfjord... I don't know if you know where that is. When we move, that's the area we'll move to. Any help finding me a job? LOL

Yeah, I've heard of Valnesfjord! I've never been there myself, but my dad has and I've seen pictures.. Beautiful Well, Norway is a small country so you will be able to travel all over it if you want to.. Haha.. A job? What can I do for you?
