To piggy-back of the sucess of the Metroid pic I bring u Denise from Megaman Legends/Rockman Dash. This is also part of the same set as the Tron picture. She was pretty darned cute, wasn't she? I didn't play Misadventures of Tron Bonne, but I do know that Denise originates from that game (I think), and from the first time that I had seen her, I was a fan. Very adorable looking design, the glasses don't hurt her cuteness a bit, and you do a marvelous fanart of her, so full of distinction, thanks to the added bg and sweet coloring.

So how was Megaman X7? I couldnt stand to play through any of the real levels after the intro stage cause Axl's AND X's voices made me want to kill bunnies, and the glitchy controlls and dramatic change from the awsome 2D-ness that they used to DOMINATE had faded to a pile of steaming feces... Also known as "Capcom games that were once 2D should always be 2D...", I mean, look at the Street Fighter EX failure...
Ah well, at least the story may have been good...

I would know what X7 was like. I dunno if u played Legends but it wasn't bad. As for the EX series actually Capcom published it and licensed their characters to another company.

Yeah, I played Legends, and liked it. I guess that would have been a favored way for the X series to go. Im just not happy with a game that looks 3-D but still plays as a 2-D game. And they clearly had better graphics with the oldschool setup. As for EX, I did'nt realize that they had not actually made that game, but it's a relief.
I suppose there are some games that (if handled correctly) transfer well into a 3-D game. Castlevania Lament of Innocence for example was a awsome in my opinion. While I still prefer the Symphony of the Night RPG style better, LoI was a nice change of pace. So basically, Konami had the right formula. I just felt that the X series is straying too far into a sterio typical anime style game instead of the awsome "speed metal" music simple and tough gameplay of the first 3 X games...
Megaman Zero however, while having some cliche aspects is a wonderful homiage to the oldschool SNES style Megaman X series.
I love megaman, I just hope Command Mission is going to live up to it's potential...

Maybe Capcom is hiring graphic artists and we can do something about the 'quality' of X8? But it may be a good thing: remember how Rockman ended at 8, with only a forgotten, recently translated Rockman and Forte after.

It's a great picture, although I have to admit I haven't played Megaman since the NES, and don't have a clue who she is.
