I posted up Young Link a couple of days ago. Now it's time for Old Link in his awesome glory!!! Since he's making a revival on the Gamecube again in a harded edged story. I hope it's what we asked for and not the ghey Nintendo (Save the princess Zelda and slay Gannon crap again)Legend of Zelda (c) Nintendo

Great Link! I think the sparkle on the blade could have been more dynamic though...the major 'spines' of the sparkle go in odd directions, and I find it a little distracting. But it's still a cool piece.
You know Nintendo...the next Zelda is most likely still going to have the same basic story of saving Zelda (hence the name and all) and killing Ganon, even though a couple of Zelda games had nothing to do with Zelda or Ganon (the Game Boy Zeldas and Majora's Mask come to mind). And it's still going to be Game of the Year.

Nice work! You've got some nice detail going - I particularly like the way you've drawn in the scabbard, with all the straps, and the smoke rising off Link's sword. However, my main nitpick would be (even though you're using copic markers, and I know how difficult they can be to control) the colouring, because it's very choppy, and not particularly clean edged, which I think cell shading generally has to be

Thanx for the crit but several things, 1) I don't use copics because they are too expensive and get the same effect and work outta Trias and Prismas, 2) This picture is pretty old thus showing it's age, 3) I don't like to go overboard with highlights, 4) I'm not that great with marker. I'm still pick up some techniques from ~sw . Now she's crazy with the Trias and Prismas
