holy crap. xD I remmeber that game. And I remember the really short plotless Anime OAV it had haha. Thats beyond aweasome you brought it back from the grave~

fuck yeah! my fave toshinden chara. i love toshinden 2. i still have my copy in that big ass, cardboard case they used to make before they went to cd jewel cases.

Toshinden used to be one of my favorite fighting games. I sort of hoped it would continue the move into a Soul Blade/Street Fighter hybrid on the PS2 but... I guess TSD3 (with Tracy's even lighter skinned sister) didn't sell well at all since we never even got TSD4 in the States. Not that it was all that good. But certainly. TSD2 is classic fighting game goodness and its really nice to see some quality fan art from it.

Toshinden's my fave series. I always use Ellis or Gaia. Tracy is a bitch to fight in TSD2! She's just way too powerful: a couple of tonfa hits, or a Peel Slider while I'm midair... it's brutal. I wish someone would do a Toshinden revival: I'm sure it'd be more appreciated if it had better graphics and an improved story today.

And yeah, I own the majority of TSD manga anthologies and scanned pictures of the girls. Compared to the other characters, Tracy is a little more darker, but not black. She could be Hispanic, or she's got a secret obsession with tanning. I'm also not sure, but I think her police badge has Takara's 'T' logo on it.

I always assumed she was hispanic myself.. But hey, in the wonderful world of ahneem Japanese people can be blonde haired and blue eyed naturally. And since Kotobuki said Kayin (Blonde/red with blue/green eyes depending on version and hilariously Scottish by bad voice action) was half Japanese half american but raised in Scotland who can even guess.

I know she is tanned 'cause I saw the OVA of the fighting game. Sadly, I saw the censored version when it first got licensed in the US. The game rocks so much when I played it back then but what make sit more awesome that the character desgins were done by the great Tsukasa Kotobuki who did Saber Marionette J, Maze, Master of Mosquiton, and Godannar. Good job on drawing Tracy.
