See I KNEW it!!! The Doctor is trying to protect Sandra from the major and his goons by sending her home when they weren't looking. (YAY Doctor!!!) I think that the Doctor realizes that something happened to Sandra back there at the power plant, something that transformed a normal woman into a MONSTEROUS, BIG, green, GAMMAZON!!! I wonder what the doctor is thinking as she is reliving this flashback, trying to figure out the identities of the Savage She-Hulk and her connection to Sandra. -You bette watch out doc, pushing Sandra too far will unveil your monsteress to you!-

Yes you were right. The doctor has noticed somehow that Sandra is our green amazon. But more she know not, and that's why she's lying to Major, to prevent that he further annoying Sandra.
