You completely make the "spell aura" look like a magic cloud very well!. Sincerely, i think that your coloring skills are very great, and the can get way more awesome that they are now. You have a lot of talent, and i think it with no doubt :'). Other thing that i just realized, is that you have dealed perfectly with the color of Applejack underwear, i didn't mention you the colors, and it's good because i love the colors you give them, you are awesome, and i am stupid for don't realize that XDU.
Im working on part three right now. I've trying to take advantage of the free times that i have, because lately im busy >-<.
I admire you, and your work. Thanks for expending 4 hours doing this ^^. I will never forgive for don't be at your streaming, because i would love to see you coloring, and also, chat with you more easily.

Thank you, getting that cloud to look the way it does took forever. Originally I was just going to leave it as a simple one color, but it didn't feel magical enough. So I had to add in various other colors to really make the effect stand out.
Heh, and I don't know about my coloring getting more awesome. I'm actually at kind of a standstill to what I know and what I could learn. I'm pretty content with how I'm coloring currently, and happy for the coloring skills that I do have. I don't have any-to-no talent in being able to draw myself, so I do take pride in my talent for colors.
And yeah, I sorta had to guess at the pantie colors. When I saw the bow, bows identify with me as always red. And when I saw the polka dots, the first thing that came to mind was itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini. But I guess I really didn't look at any reference for that either, so went with what I thought looked best.

I value a lot your work, and as you do with mine, i say you have talent. Your coloring way has style and is genuine. Why do you think i dont color my draws? I suck at colors. Because of that, being merged my work with yours, makes me see the comic like this ->
Hahah, what i mean, it's that i love that we two have worked together to make something awesome.
And, would you mind if you show me that guide? I'm sure i'll try with traditional colors (markers, pencils) but maybe, as you say, for little works, it can be useful. I truly thank you the offer, means more than you can imagine.
I understand about the decision of making a stream. I'll be watching notifications as a maniac, waiting to see if you make one. Im not much of streamings, but i want very hard to see you working ^^. As i say, ill never forgive for not being here while you was doing the last stream.

There's my guide to digital coloring. I mostly believe it's still relevant to how I get started on working a traditional line art to a digital one. However, it's mostly to get the flat colors laid down. Shade and shine takes an extra step of learning.

Lol, it's not that bad actually. Being Texan, most people suck at English here anyway, and it's their primary language. Ha ha!

Digital Coloring with GIMP for DummiesHeh, alright seeing I've been helping a lot of people and friend learn to digital color, I figured I would just post up my self-taught tip to digital coloring that I've found worked wonders. You can even ask the people I've taught the trick to that probably still use the same method today. I know I still do.
Step one) Download GIMP, it's a free art program that's somewhat easy to use if you know what your doing. I've learn many people think it's confusing, but you eventually get the hang of it after you've played with it for some time.
Step Two) Upload the artwork. This artwork can be a sketch art, line art, digital art, ect. Just get it uploaded and it should work. Unless the artwork is REALLY detailed, then my tip might make it lose quite a bit of detail, or it might be impossible to color due to all the amazing detail. Sometimes, very detailed artworks looks better off as non-color. I've seen quite a few that I couldn't color or have spent many hours attempting
There we go, should work that time.
And also if you happen to have a skype, might be easier to chat more frequently. I'm zero.confidence on skype, TX location.
