Description
Darth Inarchus: Lord of ChaosSpecies: Unknown, possibly Arkanian
Homeworld: Unknown
Age: Unknown
The ground trembled beneath Naia Sunfell’s feet. The young Jedi seeker could sense the mountain-tremors were causing the facility to shake, but that didn’t explain why her own body was quivering so badly. The lights in the corridor began to flicker. A power flux, she assured herself. No reason to be afraid. She was trained to resist fear. She knew that with the Force on her side, there was little a true Jedi Knight had to be afraid of. But the feeling that was starting to surround her in these shadowed corridors was growing. She quickened her pace, hearing her own footfalls as loud as blaster-fire to her ears. The longer she was in this place the worse the sense of panic was growing. She felt as if she was struggling against a dark tide of anxiety, that was growing ever stronger the further she went. Was there some residual Dark Side presence here? Was that what was causing her such anxiety, Naia wondered.
But Naia Sunfell didn’t know that this fear was merely the prelude to a horror she had never possessed the capacity to even imagine.
The flickering corridor lights died suddenly. The only light left came from her lightsaber, and the golden halo of illumination it cast seemed likely to be swallowed up by the rest of the darkness. Why was it so dark?
“Hello.” Said a voice, from behind. Naia whirled, breathing heavily, clutching her ignited lightsaber in her hands as much for assurance for defence. There was someone in the corridor with her. Someone she had not been able to detect with either her normal senses or with the Force.
Only a few meters away from her, leaning forwards without regard for her weapon or any of her powers, was a lank, macabre figure. Long strands of white hair shot up from his scalp as if caught in an anti-gravity field. He wore strange garments of black and navy and his face, if he even had one, was concealed behind a leering silver mask. There were no eyes showing in the holes where there should have been eyes. Just black voids, holes where no light was reflected or escaped from. He cocked his head to one side like a hunting bird examining its prey, and laughed. A gleeful, mad laugh that seemed to emanate from the frozen mouth of his mask, turning her blood to ice.
She stared at the figure in the darkness. It cocked its head to the other side, and a lingering, malevolent whisper reached her ears.
“Hello…Naia.” her breathed giddily, like cold poison in her ears. A wave of sheer panic exploded against her at the sound of it, smothering her, driving her to her knees in terror. All the remaining strength in her body deserted her. She was panting out loud, unable to control herself.
It knew her name.
The figure strode nearer, it’s footsteps making no sound as it moved, as if it had no weight to speak of. It halted barely an arms-length away from her. Then leant down, holding it’s head at the same, twisted angle. Naia felt herself being forced to look up. The cold fear compelling her somehow to gaze at the malevolent apparition, into its hollow void-eyes.
“I like you. I‘ll kill you last.” It said, and it’s tone was as eerily pleasant as it’s voice was abhorrent. And then the air around it rippled, and it began to fade into darkness. The pressure around her vanished, the lights returned. In moments the figure was gone, leaving no trace of it ever having been in the corridor, except for the young Jedi shivering on the floor.
The second highest ranking member of the Twilight Sith, and truly the most terrifying. Darth Inarchus is lord of chaos, master of madness, architect of insanity. His features hidden behind the leering visage of his mask, the only things truly known about him are that he was the first servant of Darth Thrall, and remains the most dangerous.
Inarchus seems to posess the ability to appear as a physically manifested vision, corporal and capable of interacting with reality. He weild's twin darksabers in combat, with vibroblades attached to the hilt edges. His fighting style can only be described as inhumanly wild.
Author notes:
SpectorKnight: I feel that any comment I make would be inadequate to describe the full nature of this character. We didn't create him so much as we sort of unleashed him.
ZEROresolution: "I can honestly say that there is not a single design in our entire KOTOR 3 series that I am as proud of as Inarchus. I mean, look at him. LOOK AT HIM!"

Well, the heroes too, of course. It's just that I'm miserable at creating villains and it's fun to see what you guys come up with.
