I didn't edit any of the smudging because there was too much.
Hopefully most of it just looks like purposeful shading. XD It didn't come out as good as I'd hoped, but it's not as bad as it could be, I suppose.It's the cover of vol. 1 of Kuroshitsuji.

Yeah, but I was also drawing from a reference and trying to see how close I could get to the actual picture. It was sort of like practice, but not with my own drawings.

i went to barns & noble the other day and i saw the cover of this manga and i was like "oh damn--this looks alot like Hari's drawing!"
and i'm not sugar coating this!--because thats whut i actually thought! yr getting better girl! ;D

Yeah, and I think the fact that you put things in a non-anal way without sugarcoating has helped me improve a lot so far.
That's true. I think that's partly why my hands have improved a little bit. Actually, a lot. XD I should take pictures of feet and just draw them.

you know like if a picture REALLY sucks like hell and someone is like "ooooh this looks so pretty! i luv the hair" just to make the person feel good---that kind of stuff can turn people into cocky no-it-alls

Yeah, I'm never really sure with those comments anyway. Like if someone doesn't point out any flaws, I assume they see some but just aren't bothering to tell me. I like long comments so I actually have something to reply with other than 'Thank you!' all the time.
Yeah, I know. That gets annoying fast when people are like that.
I hope so. XD I think something else that shows my hands (we are talking about MY hands, not hands in drawing, right?) are getting more experienced is that sketch I posted yesterday. I mean, I literally just was hardly paying attention when I drew it and I think because I wasn't trying to make it perfect, that's what made it better cuz I was more relaxed.
I can draw feet, but not shoes.
