Just a few Kid x Chrona doodles I had laying around that were highly conceptualized and I thought the KxC shippers around DA would enjoy them.

I thought I'd submit them to the club, but I feel bad because they're not really... "finished?"

The first doodle is an illustration of how I think Kid and Chrona may have started dating. Because Kid organizes the medicine cabinets in the Dispensary while Maka is ill, Chrona has been haunted by the act of kindness that doesn't seem to make any sense to... anyone! Chrona's still learning kindness and spends hours staring at the medicine cabinets after school, wondering what the significance is... when one day Kid comes running in to bandage a finger that isn't injured because Stein wouldn't give him a second one for just one paper cut... Chrona helps to make the second bandage symmetrical to the first one and Kid explains the wonders of symmetry. A beautiful relationship is born...

But in the second image, the tragedy is obvious. For Chrona is a witch's child and Kid is the son of Shinigami. Some kudos to ~NosferatuTheNictuku for having drawn this concept much better than I and before me.

And so it is that in the third image, Chrona is succumbing to madness, distraught at their star-crossed situation and his/her inability to not betray Shibusen in the end. The eyes of Kishin are watching and images of Kid flying away on silver wings are only as comforting as the sweet embrace of Mr. Smith.

Hope to add some crappy PS color to these if I ever get some time. Until then, enjoy!
