This is beautifully done.
Reminds me of screenshots for the game Killer7.
Wonderful work!

now this is something to admire, most definitely my favourite of all three.
It may just be the colour scheme (I've always had a soft spot for b/w&red) or it may be the level of refinement, where you've reached that balance of ambiguity/mystery/minimalism and style/form/detail. Either way it's funky fresh.

That must be miles!
I like the style of this, very minimal... just essentials of it... very 'cool'...

Truth be told it is not Miles, but is based from a photograph I took at a local jazz speakeasy several years ago. The pose however, is deeply evocative of that classic Miles.

Very impressive. I like the simple colors and the stark contrasts. It reminds me of the Miles Davis painting that I have in my gallery. I'm a big jazz fan as well, so I'm digging the jazz series that you have. You have a very cool, expressive style . . . very free-flowing, like jazz I imagine.

My word this is beautiful... The colors, especially, it almost looks like a woodcut... The shadow is just stupendous.
Also, the sketchy edges and solid colors remind me a bit of Mike Mignola's work...

From the Artlex.com site (which does a better job of defining it than I would): India ink or Indian ink - The name in the United States for black ink, the pigment made from carbon -- traditionally lampblack (derived from non-electric lamps). This ink is also used in solid forms, mixed with a binding agent and molded into cakes or sticks. Such solid forms are often called Chinese ink, Japanese ink, or sumi ink.>/i>

ooh. i like this lots. definitely the most effective of these pieces in my opinion. i've been assuming it's outside rather than indoors, though i've just realised i'm probably wrong, but that's how i assumed it was, so the orange and black is like the light you get in the middle of the night with orange street lights and huge shadows and stuff. yep, this i love.

Even greater with just a bit of color... this reminds me of something that never existed, y'know what I mean? Like you think it reminds you of something, but it doesn't. uh... yeah
