Description
"Oh, it's you. It's been a long time. How have you been?
I've been really busy being dead. You know, after you murdered me!"
How I see GLaDOS..
Id always thought of her sat in a little control room, in an egg chair, with a glass of the finest Merlot.
Her head is MASSIVE lol

LOL, love the egg chair! It's pretty spiffy. If I was a murdering robot I would have a chair like that.

Thankies
When i showed my mum this, all she had to say was 'I LOOOVE EGG CHAIRS'
I was like.. yeah they're great.. any feedback on the drawing?
Then she's like 'OMG ITS GOT A WINE GLASS, I LOOVE WINE!!!'
Then she melted away in a puddle of realising that she is GLaDOS..

OoooooOOOOoo! Writing, that's tough! Can't do that to save my life. Hence why I cooperate with a writer! XDD She has fixed my spelling mistakes millions of times over.
Though you seem pretty creative so I bet kid stories will come easy, after all they don't have to be that complex.
I want to do one where a prissy kitty takes a street cat fighter in and teaches him how to be a gentleman. Then they fall in love. XDDDD

Defo tough! I kinda team up with my little cousin for alot of writing ideas.. hes got an imagination like a bottomless pit most of the time.
I mostly fail at the linking bits.. the reason why bits...
Who needs reasoning to go adventuring in the jungle? hehe
And yeah, at least with little ones the storys arent that detailed. Although often hard as its hard to know what not to put in.. ie.. too much jibber jaber etc
That story sounds so good! I can imagine it now!
A bit Lady and the Trampish, with spagetti and everything! hehe

How old is your cousin?
Good to have a companion! 8D
I bet it's hard to make books alone. =<
If you ever need any feedback I'll be happy to tell you my thoughts whenever you want! Though I'm not much of a writer, but my friend is! 8DDDD
Simpler the better! And yeah now that you mention it, it's a lot like lady and the tramp. Except there will be a lot of morals in it! Cause my mom says kids need to learn good morals now a days! XP

About 12/13 I think he is. He plays games like they're food and so his mind is always full of fantastic ideas
and ill defo come to you for feedback if ya like, thankies. Its always good to get a second opinion. And also, you could give feedback on the art side, and your friend on writing! Perfect combintation! hehe
Hehe, that what makes a good book to me. If its got a message to say, or something to learn from.. then its been a good read. Even if its for children! Im a sucker for childrens books, not just for the picture... I like having something easy to read.
And of course it helps for research!

Yep yep, I very rarely laugh out loud, but books often do it for me!
Its a bit silly though, sat in the book shop... on a beanbag, laughing out loud at a book Im 15 years too old for! What else is one to do on a rainy afternoon?

Most GLaDOS designs are based on cool colors, like blue. :3 This one is much different, and I love it!

I love your version of GLaDOS!
That scene actually really freaked me out the first time I saw it. I have no idea why- it had something to do with the freaky way she dragged her head across the ground.

AngelAndChangeling In reply to ZestyDoesThings [2011-09-10 13:32:10 +0000 UTC]
Well, I've never actually played the second one, so.
Actually, I already knew basically the whole plot to the game by the time I was watching that part, so when we first go through her chamber and she's shut down, I was like, "Oh thank God!" And then Wheatley's all "Let me turn a light on in here" and the platform starts moving, and I'm like "WHEATLEY YOU MORON!!!!"

U should really play the second part, its AWESOME! hehe

I would love to be able to play it someday. However, I'm too cheap (also known as broke) to buy the game myself, and the main game I'll be attempting to get for Christmas will without a doubt be Skyward Sword, so I might be out of luck.

Same here, luckily my sister borrowed it from her friend at uni. Along with bioshock etc.. not fun! lol
Im hoping to get Skyward Swords when its released... the only game ill buy this year at launch... and i might as well get the special edition!
Im hoping to get Elder Scrolls - Skyrim for Christmas, coz it comes out at same time as Zelda!!
What a conumdrum! lol

AngelAndChangeling In reply to ZestyDoesThings [2011-09-10 17:46:32 +0000 UTC]
Lucky!
Yeah, I'm afraid I'm probably going to break down and buy Skyward Sword at launch. Which would be awesome, but considering how many books I'll also be buying at launch (nothing in the world could stop me from buying "Son of Neptune" or "Inheritance" on release date) I'm probably going to be spending way too much money...

Its a real shame these things cost money... it makes me wanna infiltrate nintendo and make myself president... Then i have allll the gaaames! yaaaaaay
hehe
Im a book fan too! But luckily there not quite as expensive.
Spending money is fine as long as you have it! hehe

If you infiltrate Nintendo, please send me copies of all the games!!
Yeah, books are cheaper, but I always have to buy the hardcovers, and they always cost more, and I have a bad habit of buying more than one copy of books I love, and-
Yeah, spending money wouldn't be so horrible, but I'm really trying not to spend too much since I'm a poor college student and all... Plus, I keep spending all this money on yarn for my crocheting addiction...
π: 0 β©: 1
ZestyDoesThings In reply to AngelAndChangeling [2011-09-11 08:10:03 +0000 UTC]
Defo!
Although dont get your hopes up.. i doubt it'll happen! hehe
Hardcovers are definitely the way forward! feels like your always reading something EPIC!!
haha! Crochet! Same thing here, im also a student.. but living at home means i dont have to spend enormous amounts of money on food etc. But felt and felt plushy making consumes my money!
Little things add up dont they? hehe

Someday, maybe...
I just love the way they feel. It's like, "Oh yeah, I've got this big awesome book here. FEAR IT!" And they're harder to tear up, so that's nice.
I don't live close enough to live at home, so it's dorm life for me. Luckily, I also don't have a car with me, which means I can't just drive off and buy yarn every single time I'm tempted, but still...

ZestyDoesThings In reply to AngelAndChangeling [2011-09-11 20:21:24 +0000 UTC]

The only problem ive found with hardcovers... theres a nightmare to take on the trains... they're just too heavy! lol
and not having a car with ya does have its advantages!

My biggest problem with them is reading in bed. Now, it's not so bad when it's just a couple hundred pages, but when I'm reading something like an Eragon book or Harry Potter, I'm almost guaranteed to eventually smack myself in the face.
π: 0 β©: 1
ZestyDoesThings In reply to AngelAndChangeling [2011-09-11 20:57:13 +0000 UTC]
Haha!
Many a time ive done that!
Its not easy to read any other way really...sitting up defeats the object of reading in bed.. plus its cold..
and lying on front is just uncomfortable!
How are supposed to read big books without the threat of broken noses!? hehe
