This is a huge and impressive improvement! I quite like this image, the colour scheme works extremely well and there is a definite feeling of the anticipation of movement. Plus the character just looks cool.
I don't know if you want crit on your work, but some of his proportions feel out. His head is very large in comparison to his torso. On average, three headlengths should into the full length of the torso from the base of the head to the pelvis - he feels very compact.
