The first kaiju to be discovered after Godzilla's attack, the ankylosaur-like Anguirus was discovered burrowing in the wastelands of Siberia and promptly brought to the fledgling Monster Island research facility. As more kaiju were brought to the islands, Anguirus showed himself to be a tenacious fighter; sporting a club tail and an armored back with armadillo-like abilities, Anguirus is fiercely aggressive and willing to do battle when provoked.
