I remember those days both fondly and with some degree of weariness. It never was a good as this though. Although it could be fun when the gals showers weren't working following a winter dive!!!

Hello, darling. I LOVED your latest commission for Firdaus, just beautiful work! I saw this render and just LOVED it but I noticed that you're having a bit of trouble with your scuba resource that I can help you with. I hope you wont' feel like I'm patronizing you but you see how her scuba backpack / tank is a bit warped? This is a weakness of the resource you are using (lovely kitbash with the mouth rebreather and gauge BTW). The problem is that since the model you are using it on has body morphs applied for some reason those morphs are also being applied to the scuba tank.

The way I have found to solve this is to use the resource twice. Apply it once to get the straps on her body nice and conforming, but make the tank invisible. The tank is a location like left forearm or upper chest, so you can just expand the tank locations and scroll down to see that the tank itself is one unit. Making it invisible will leave the straps behind and hide the tank. It should be parented to her normally. Then - and I realize that this sounds unnecessarily complicated but the tank will still get proper fucked by her body morphs if you don't do it this way - you'll have to create either a new group or a simple solid (either will work). Make sure you select the group (or solid) and not the girl when you open another copy of the scuba tank. The scuba tank will start out parented to the group (or solid) and, since the group has no morphs attached to it the tank will load correctly, not warped. Now you can detach the tank and parent it to the girl's upper or lower chest (depending on how high you want it to be on her body) so that it will look like it is attached to her straps but is actually just attached to the correct bodypart. Fitting it to the girl will obviously cause the distortion problem again, so don't do that.
