Well.
If you mean the God of Hyperdeath...
This is just my opinion.
He's controlled by Asriel and Frisk.
So if Asriel want to fight or kill someone, Frisk can stop him immediately.

Well in my AU TraverseTale or TTale to be short, he absorbed Chara's soul while recieving arrow shots from humans(Not on purpose I might add)and used said determination to push Chara away as a soulless conscience that now narrates asriel's journey from his body buried before the RUINS
