Description
This is the start of a new mini comic series I'm going to be doing called "Rayne's Groovy Afternoon". It will be about funny stuff that happens to me or my friends.Our band teacher Mr. N. likes to think that the weather is never bad. We march sometimes when it's raining really hard or really windy. This was something that I thought would make a funny comic.

i know that feeling, we would march in the rain, after a while our teacher would finally let us go inside and then it stopped right as the last person got in the door

one time this year, it was raining a bit hard,and we were marching. My band teacher went to stand on a bench, it was wet, he fell off of it (hes fine)

Yeeeaaah, I know about this one. At one point, someone was late and ran out, and it was so rainy any windy that they were literally, I kid you not, soaked to the bone in no more than two minutes. Our director kept on saying, "Oh don't worry, it'll let up soon!" It never let up... ToT

Oh meh gosh. Tis be true! One time, it was raining wicked hard for two weeks straight, yet we still had to march. There was so much mud on the field, that when it came to this one move in our closer where we had to jazz run (last year), EVERYONE slipped. I got taken out by a sousaphone >.<

I have a hard head =3 I hit my head all the time (we have this funky locker setup, and my friend that's above me leaves his locker door open a bit. I stand up, and WHACK!)

I remember having to march in hail once during a football game, and a competition where it rained so hard that our drumline looked like it belonged in STOMP. XD Love the comic. ^^

My old band director was in the DCI Corps as a teenager because his dad was one of the staff members there, but one time while they were practicing one of the guys there actually did get struck by lightning and died (according to my director) but now he's quite afraid of thunder storms and we don't ever practice if there's lightning.

I didn't know that o.o but that would most certainly be reason to stay indoors on those rainy days... I know someone else whose friend was killed by lightning and now he's really afraid of lightning and thunder :/

Last year, we had to play for pepband during a winter snow storm, and the drumset and the drumsticks ended up /freezing together/ because some dumbass crowdmember poured water all over the drumsticks while we were on break.

My hs director got mad at us whenever it rained (we don't really get terrible weather where I'm from) because "[He] marched in Washington where it's ALWAYS wet! So stop complaining!"
