A Princess of the Abyss and Reptic 's fiancé . She's also based on The Little Mermaid.

Ariella first met Repticilius when she and her father went to Atlantis for peace talks that ended in both Reptic and Ariella betrothed. Ariella would stay in Atlantis til their marriage and learned many things about the legendary underwater kingdom. When Reptic disappeared to the surface, Ariella tried to follow and search for him but was stopped by her guards. If both her and Reptic are gone then the hierarchy would be thrown into chaos with other striving to take her place and rule, so Ariella had to stay and lead along with her Father and Reptic's father.

Trivia - Though Reptic and Ariella look like different, they're a part of the same species with very many differences between males and females. The females are called Mermaids while the males are called Gillmen. Mermaids are capable using their voices for many abilities including distorting light to create illusions and using a siryn song to draw in people and animals.
