Description
Ira Billings was a seemingly normal psychologist who used holograms in his sessions to aid his patients. But the truth is much more sinister than one might think. Ira was hypnotizing his patients into giving him their money and valuables with no memory of the event. Ira would also turn thieves into his slaves to steal money and should they get caught, no one would believe that they didn't do it of their own free will. Batman would eventually start to uncover Ira's scheme and attempted to stop him. Ira luckily used his hologram tech to get away, but he knew Batman would return, so he needed to be prepared. Adapting his hologram tech to work with a control suit, Ira became Spellbinder, Master of Illusions. Batman with the help of Bruce would get through the illusions and send Ira to Blackgate Prison. Ira would escape and scheme time and time again, but Batman would always be there to stop him and eventually Ira just gave up and stayed in prison instead of escaping. Ira would stay there for years until a pale faced, green haired security guard came to him and gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. To be part of one night plan where all of Batman's enemies would take him and destroy Gotham in the process, Ira accepted the deal immediately.

Ira's new Spellbinder outfit is new than ever and has two hologram eyes built into the hands, but these holograms are different than before. They're made of solid light so they'll actually hurt you if you're punched by them. The inverted colors also help to hide in the shadows while the solid holograms do their job to confuse their target.
