Well I like Big Chill (only for the reason that he doesn't look so human shaped anymore) Four Arms I don't like because of the Russian strongman theme to his look, Stinkfly I agree with (color combination is weird, green on green and more parts of him aren't covered before like his gloves are missing and his mouth isn't covered). Yeah, UAF did screw up Upgrade but OV isn't innocent in screwing him up even more, they put the omnitrix where his eye should be. How does he see ?! I know he didn't have the most expressive facial expressions but at least we could tell if he was angry, sad, or surprised. With where the omnitrix is now we can't see that anymore and now he seems even more robotic (meant that as an insult). I didn't like Nanomech either (one of the rare instances where I prefer the UAF look to the OV one, and the omnitrix for an eye again ?!) Shocksquatch was a weird one, I wonder why they felt the need to change him up so much.
Oh I see, yeah I can see that with the more cartoonish look that the designs would look less three dimensional.

Personally, I rather preferred Big Chill skinnier, but that's just me.:shrug<>(also, Fourarms' Omniverse design made me facepalm the first time I saw it)
Oh, I'm not absolving Omniverse from their part in Upgrade's "downgrade(har har)," I'm just saying that a large chunk of the blame goes to UAF's redesign of him(also, isn't his "eye" supposed to glow when he talks?).
Personally, I liked Nanomech's design from Alien Swarm more than I liked the one from Omniverse.
Agreed, I too was utterly baffled by their decision to change his design so drastically(maybe they thought he was too fat and/or didn't have enough color?).

I've heard that. Others I've talked about with this have told me they liked him skinnier because it fits his ghosty or reaper motif.
I don't think I would of minded the design if his tank top shirt was turned to a sleeveless shirt and his moustache and horns were gone giving him a look close to his Ben 10K Four Arms
Yeah, there's just something off about his only black and green look and his eye is suppose to glow when he talks, I miss that effect .
I liked the one from the movie as well. But the only thing I didn't like was his mouth(I know that's a weird thing to complain about but it looked weird to me)
Probably the stuff you listed, but I liked his look in Heroes United, it looked more sasquatch-like than the OV one did.

Perhaps he could be renamed "Frossquatch" and be able to freeze things through touch(as opposed to breath-beam(s), like both Arctiguana AND Big Chill), as well as cover his hands and/or feet with it(for melee combat)?

Speaking of Big Chill, I think that I might have an idea to differentiate his powers from Arctiguana(since some fans just see him as "Ghostfreak and Arctiguana's illegitimate love-child"); perhaps, instead of freeze-breath, he instead sucks-in heat, similar to how "Ultimate Big Chill" freezes things(if Word of God is to be believed)?

We need more different kinetic aliens with abilities like
Amokinesis - Love (I imagine Ben could turn into an alien that everyone is drawn to because it's so cute and they all love him)
Atmokinesis - Weather
Audiokinesis - Sound (Can sneak up on a person totally silent then make something like snapping his fingers sound like an explosion.)
Antikinesis -Antimatter (Destroy any matter he touches)
Ferrokinesis - Metal
Flyrokinesis - Force Fields
GeoThermokinesis - Lava, Magma
Hallucikinesis - Illusions
Heliokinesis - Solar Energy
Hypnokinesis - Sleep
Ionikinesis - Plasma
Nitrokinesis - Explode and Recover afterwards

Gutrot might be capable of making chemical gases that make people either fall sleep or fall in love(like when he made that pheromone that attracted the mutant to'kustars in "The Most Dangerous Game Show"), and he's already got a few "cute" aliens.
Controlling metal is already covered by Lodestar and his magnetic powers.
Sound is also covered by both Blitzwolfer and Echo-Echo... but, taking a second glance, they don't really manipulate sound, they just produce it.
Heatblast and NRG have been shown to make lava/magma, but not actually manipulating it(though, with Heatblast, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it's revealed that he can).
... What exactly do you define as "plasma?"
Not sure how they'd have done a solar-powered alien(doesn't Heatblast come from a sun?), but the idea of manipulating light in general sound like an awesome idea... then again, people would probably just bitch about how it's a Green Lantern rip-off.
Antimatter sounds a bit risky for an alien(since Ben wouldn't be able to even use him without blowing everything to smithereens), but an alien that could create explosions does sound pretty cool... then again, you'd only just be creating Michael Bay.
I'm actually rather shocked that Ben hadn't gotten any aliens who's powers were based around force fields, illusions, or controlling the weather.
I also noticed that, for all of the variety of powers that he does have, Ben doesn't have an alien with healing powers, either(yes, Swampfire fixed-up Reiny in "Alone Together," but that was only done once). Perhaps an angel-like alien could fill that role?

Well if I had to get technical, he controls magnetic waves but controlling metal is almost another thing like one ability being able to liquefy metal and shape it to anything the user desires. I can't help but think that if Ben tried this he'd just make a ball of metallic garbage smashed together.
Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of my original alien, Soundweb, he shoots out weblines that absorb all sound in the immediate area or a webline that when struck amplifies all the sound in area to levels that will knock everyone out.
I'm thinking an alien that is made entirely of lava like the Pokémon Slugma and Magcargo and with their organs being made of rock.
I was thinking of an alien that expels plasma and resembles the Human Torch in a way. When he comes into contact with something like electricity then he becomes covered in it, same with fire and ice. The plasma copies whatever condition is near it.
I was thinking that the alien would run on solar power and when he's in a dark or shadowed place he'll start to slow down.
Yeah, on second thought an antimatter alien might go the wrong way pretty fast. The explosion could work if it not the typical kind, maybe it could be like a fireworks explosion.
Same here. Well I can guess they didn't want to make a force field one in UAF because that was Gwen's primary ability then. As for the others can't figure out why they never made aliens with those albilities.

Well, it was their own fault for needlessly reworking her powers to begin with. What kind of designs would work for force fields, illusions, and controlling weather(hell, they didn't even come up with anything with teleportation or portal-based powers)?

Well what I mean is there's different types of plasma, super heated and super cooled, plus electrically charged. When he comes into contact with fire or extreme heat he turns to super heated plasma, then when he's around anything cold, he turns to super cooled plasma (which I think might resemble the Alpha Nanite but blue)
Yeah that would probably put him in the same category as The Worst and Walkatrout
If I had to take a whack at explaining it. The alien could have gelatinous sacs all over its body that are filled explosive chemicals and metallic salt (that's what makes fireworks different colors) that make the different colored explosions possible.
Yeah, if ain't broke, don't fix it. Well for the force field one I'm thinking of a humanoid alien with glowing palms where the force field energy comes out. Illusions could be a glass alien since prisms manipulate light and that could be how it forms the illusion. For weather, I'm thinking an alien that is like Gravattack. He's a walking planet with his own atmosphere that can form any kind of weather he commands and his lightning when sent into cloud can control what storm it will produce.

Well, the weather alien could be either that, or something akin to a sentient cloud(just throwing-out suggestions). Speaking of Gravattack, he's actually my favorite of the Omniverse aliens, both in powers and design... my only real gripe with him is that, in every appearance he makes, he's a different size(as if the creative team couldn't decide on how big he should be).

Well I need to find out what's in the cloud for me to fully accept it. Being a living cloud seems a little iffy to me but if it's an alien that puts out and is covered by a clod then I'd believe it. Same here, also on the size thing, he was huge like 12 ft when he debuted but then later only a little taller than the tallest guy at what I think is 8 ft.
