The Hulk of the Future.

When Los Angeles journalist, Jonas Eisenhart, encountered the Knights of Banner, an order of warriors who valued strength above all else and idolized the Hulk, striving to become strong like him, so much so that they stole Gamma-Tech and tried to make their own warriors into Hulks. All who were experimented on died and the scientists were growing frustrated. When Jonas was caught investigating the Knights, they decided to use him in their experiments instead of tearing him limb from limb. Their gamma tech procedure went as it normally did, but instead of turning into a human puddle like the others, Jonas started to grow in size and muscle. His bones were starting to burst from his flesh and large areas of hair growing over his body. Jonas had finally became the Hulk that the Knights hoped. He escaped and fled home, but was unable to get into his house, so he slept outside. In the morning, Jonas found himself returned to normal and look into any available files on Bruce Banner and started to experiment with his powers, finding out that he had all the same powers as the Hulk with the added bonus of being able to retain his personality and transform at will into his regular self or his Hulk form. Jonas also found that he shared some aspects of Emil Blonksy, The Abomination and theorized that the doctors might have used some of his DNA along with Bruce Banner's for their experiments in creating a Hulk.

With the Knights after Jonas, he had to quit his job and leave everyone he knew in order to keep them safe. He's now searching for why he lived and became a Hulk while everyone else died with the Knights on his trail, looking to get him back and study him so they can add more Hulks to their ranks.

Jonas will eventually come across other heroes like when he arrived in Nueva York and came across Spider-Man/Miguel O'Hara.
