So just like the other characters in Hybrids, I wanted to do a redesign of Arachnera www.deviantart.com/zigwolf/art… and give her a design that tells a bit more of what she's about.

So for this time around, I wanted to give her clothes, so she wasn't totally naked. So I thought that she could weave her webs into some quick makeshift clothes that take her about 30 minutes to craft for a full outfit. For her left arm, she now has pouches to carry her spray paint cans. This was added so she wouldn't wear purely white web clothes and could choose its color and it's a hint to her backstory where she's a fairly good graffiti artist and got in trouble a lot with her parents and the law for tagging walls with her artwork. I also gave her a painting mask with filters to make her a bit more intimidating For her Spider Legs, they seemed to not serve much purpose in the original drawing, so I altered them to aid in transversal. The upper spider legs shoot weblines and the larger lower spider legs are meant for balance if either of her main legs give out in any way.

For a backstory revamp, I'm keeping much of her story the same, but changing her ethnicity to half Hispanic and her name is now Maya Warshaw. She picked her Viuda Urbana codename from it being a Spanish translation of Urban Widow.
