Description
This is Echo, the second in command of the Hybrids. Her real name is Lexi Romero and she is the smartest member of the Hybrids.

Lexi Romero was a promising student and best friend to Tom Moreau at the start of her story. After a class field trip to the Mount Davis Forest, Lexi and six other students were attacked by two human/animal creatures and seriously injured. Out of nowhere, white trucks came out of nowhere and captured the creatures and also took the teens. After stabilizing their injuries, Lexi and the others were taken to a secret lab and put through tests and later given a serum that changed them into human/animal hybrids and Lexi was changed into a Fruit Bat. Lexi along with Patrick were taken to the Aviary with other flight capable Hybrids. Weeks after their first change, an explosion occurred at the containment labs and many hybrids escaped. The teens found their way back to each other and tried to figure out their next move. Only a few of them could change back to normal, Lexi had to focus to change back but with her human form and animal form being mammals it was easier for her than it was for others to change back to normal. After hearing of a hybrid attacking innocent people, which included some of their families, the team of teens went out and fought the attacker, inadvertently becoming heroes. Now they are protecting the city from Hybrids villains and hoping to find a cure for their "ailment". Lexi became the strategist/planner of the Hybrids and comes up with alternate ways of fighting when the normal "punch 'em til they're knocked out" plan doesn't work out.

Her Hybrid side is a Fruit Bat, she can fly, use echolocation to see in total darkness, her senses are also enhanced, most notably her Sight and Hearing, and finally she can scream Sonic Blasts.
